Latest NewsCREST PROCESS ENGINEERING LTD BUYS THE PUMPSHACK The Pumpshack is a site which gives the opportunity to advertise used, second hand or competitively priced new pump equipment, accessories and spares. Crest had collected over the years a number of pumps which were no longer needed and saw the opportunity by posting these units on the Pumpshack as way of raising revenue. It worked so well that Crest entered discussions with the Pumpshack with a view to purchase the company, those discussions ended successfully and The Pumpshack is now wholly owned by Crest Process Engineering Ltd Click on the logo below to take you to the Pumpshack
ARO RELEASE NEW-HIGH PRESSURE PISTON PUMPS
ARO Fluid Technologies have released newly designed, high pressure piston pump and packages which are ideal for the transfer and supply of medium to high viscosity materials. The new ARO 65:1 ration pump offering is the answer when mastics, inks, sealants, adhesives and other heavy materials are in demand.PUMP FEATURES: - Performance - Aro's 65:1 chop-check pump packages have been specially designed to handle fluids in excess of 1,000,000 centipoise and pressures up to 7,475 psi Durability - The chrome plated plunger rod and cylinder are especially suited to pumping abrasive fluids. Reliability - ARO pumps employ longer strokes that cycle less frequently, delivering the same quality of fluid with less pulsation than other brands, and ultimately prolonging motor life. Ease of Service - Tie rod construction permits quick strip and repair to minimise downtime. Maximised Pump Life - ARO pumps feature a visible solvent cup and adjustable packings to minimise downtime and extend the life of the pump. Superior Seal Wear - Extensive laboratory testing with some of the harshest materials enables ARO to bring you a packing design that consistently delivers superior seal wear characteristics. GRUNDFOS OFFER A WIDE RANGE OF PACKAGED PUMPING STATIONS
Grundfos offer a full range of functional modular pumping stations - complete with all necessary piping, valves and level controls etc.It is a modular concept with increased sump volume. The pump pit, pumps and controls can be combined to suit specific requirements for each individual application. The pumping stations are made of durable polyethylene (PEHD). All pre-installed piping is either PE or high grade stainless steel, depending on pump model. As standard, the pumping stations are supplied with a PE top cover. UNIQUE BENEFITS Modular Flexibility Enables many adaptations to individual specifications. Inlet pipes are placed on site to fit actual needs. Corrosion Free Resistant Materials The unique design and corrosion-free materials make the pumping stations very service-friendly and easy to maintain A Unique Grundfos Feature The sump diameter is 200 mm larger than the diameter of the pit itself. This increases volume and prevents upthrust. Easy Installation The pumping stations are pre-mounted with all necessary pipes and valves ready for installation. Sturdy Construction The special design of the moulded pit makes it dimensionally stable and extremely sturdy. The shoulder of the pit prevents upthrust. Design The design of the sump limits sludge and odour problems Download Literature (0.98 MB) DEPA LAUNCHES THE NEW E4 DIAPHRAGM FEATURING NOPPEDE4 SURFACE
Traditionally, PTFE has been recognised as one of the most frequently used materials in the Air Operated Diaphragm Pump industryThe high chemical resistance of PTFE has earned its growing frequency of deployment and expanded its range of application. Nevertheless, the PTFE has some drawbacks, namely a marked reduction in capacity coupled with a shorter life span when compared to alternate materials, such as elastomer diaphragms. To address this shortcoming, Crane has developed an innovative solution - the DEPA E4 Diaphragm. The innovative "noppedE4" surface design and EPDM-fixed back up, has proven to be extremely successful. With extended life-span, increased flexibility and improved security as the diaphragm works as a single entity (the outer piston is encapsulated in the PTFE, so there is no leakage path). The product is only in contact with the PTFE. Due to the high flexibility and the smooth surface, the diaphragm supports the desired flow rate and has a greatly extended lifetime Download Literature (181 KB) |
